The Congregation of the sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary, founded by Fr. Peter Joseph Triest in Belgium in 1803 and established in India in Dalhousie in 1901 is missioned to reveal that God is Love. Our mission as Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary is to reveal that God is Love. Encouraged by a new understanding of the mission of Christ and living in a changing social context we endeavor through our educational apostolate to bring about the kingdom of God by creating a humane and just social order and to foster the personal growth of the individuals in becoming intellectually Competent; committed to the cause of justice, love and peace, and ever receptive to the challenges of continual growth.
